Final Project
Overview: The Final Project is conceived as a capstone project that puts together the conceptual and technical skills students have learned during the class. The Final Project suggests a combination portfolio of lab skills learned with a demonstration of ERP data analysis skills in which the student analyzes a selected set of data from the provided Sample Data set. The supplementary materials contain additional suggestions for a variety of final projects depending on the level and focus of the class, available data sets, student information handouts, and rubrics for grading.
Learning Goals:
- Create organized resource for future research
- Effectively apply data analysis skills learned in course
- Apply conceptual skills to formulate a new ERP research idea
- Demonstrate ability to report ERP research in scientific writing style
Materials Included: Slides, In-class Activities
Assessment
Overview: This unit is for instructor use and introduces a database of questions that sample from the Introductory modules and provide questions at basic, intermediate and more advanced levels. The questions are designed to be easily graded.
Learning Goals:
- Assess conceptual knowledge about EEG and ERP methodology
- Demonstrate basic, intermediate and more advanced knowledge of core
- Ability to think critically about ERP experimental design
- Understand the sources and features of the EEG/ERP signal
Materials Included: Slides
